World cup is going to happen next month and every country is announcing their squad for cricket world cup 2019. New Zealand has already announced their squad for cricket world cup 2019. India is going to announce their squad on 15th April.
Meanwhile, former prominent cricket players have started to predict their countries squad for world cup. As we reported earlier, Shane Warne has predicted his squad for Australia. Virender Sehwag has also picked his squad for the World Cup 2019. The squad has eight changes from the 2015 World Cup squad while 7 players are retained by sehwag from 2015 World Cup squad of India.
Neither Ambati Rayudu nor Dinesh Karthik have been included in Sehwag’s squad. Instead he has selected younger and more dynamic duo of KL Rahul and Rishab Pant. He has also picked both Vijay Shankar and Ravindra Jadeja in the squad and only selecting three mainstream fast bowlers in the squad.
Virender Sehwag has selected five batsmen Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Kedar Jadhav and skipper Virat Kohli. However, Kedar Jadhav has been treated as an all-rounder from last one year. He has also selected two wicket-keepers batsmen MS Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav. He also included three all-rounders Hardik Pandya, Vijay Shankar and Ravindra Jadeja.
In bowling department he has included two spinners and three pacers. Pair of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendar Chahal commonly called as kulcha, forms the spin bowling department of Sehwag. While in fast bowlers he has included Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar kumar.
