After 12 years of failures and bottom finishes, the 13th edition of Indian Premier League is turning out to be a great season of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).  On the big grounds of UAE, they have succeeded in turning up heat on oppositions.

While young opener Devdutt Padikkal remains find of the season, RCB’s bowling unit comprising Chris Morris, Navdeep Saini, Washington Sundar, Yuzuvendra Chahal and a rejuvenated Mohammad Siraj have called the shots for the first time in 12 years. RCB is now well placed at second place in the points table with 7 wins in 12 matches. They almost have their one foot in playoffs and will be eyeing for a top two finish.

RCB’s superb show this season has earned heap of praises from experts and former cricketers. Recently former New Zealand cricketer Scott Styris heaped praises on RAB’s bowing arsenal also on Star Sports’s show. “I always believe that your bowler must have the captain’s faith in you. Looks like finally, RCB has a bowling unit that Kohli has belief in and they can do the job,” said Scott Styris.

In recent times, almost every expert has been highly critical of RCB’s feeble bowling attack and Scott Styris is no exception. But after he heaped praises this time around, A fan is seemed unhappy with Scott Styris as he asked “why he hates the RCB the most?” on twitter.

Scott Styris noticed the tweet and gave a witty reply as he said: “Because you’ve got to dislike one of the teams (Winking face emoji).”

FYI, Royal Challengers Bangalore slipped to 5 wickets defeat in their yesterday’s encounter against Mumbai Indians. It was their 6th defeat of the season and now, they will need a win in remaining two matches to ensure a place in playoffs.
