After winning the player of the match award, Manpreet Gony said, “I just wanted to hit the ball, I think I can do that job. I just told my partners to stay in; if I would get out, they would need to stay till the end, it was a big game and nice to get a win.”

After winning the match, Yuvraj Singh said, “Pretty incredible, thought we were done in the game, thanks to Gony and some smart batting, we stole the game. We lost too many wickets, I got out, so did Polly, which was a big wicket, but Manpreet did the job. But we bat deep and knew we had a chance; we didn’t bowl all that well, pretty inexperienced in the bowling department.”
