India’s finest All-rounder Yuvraj Singh announced his retirement from international cricket a few months ago. After that, he decided to play in various T20 leagues around the world. Yuvi played in Global T20 Canada this year for Toronto nationals and led the team. Now according to reports, Yuvraj Singh is going to play in T10 league 2019. T10 league 2019 will take place in Abu Dhabi. T10 chairman Shaji Ul Mulk said that Yuvraj Singh is almost here for the T10 league.
“The fact that the government of Abu Dhabi has supported this event with a five-year agreement means it’s already bigger,” T10 chairman Shaji Ul Mulk said on Wednesday. “There is greater credibility and greater responsibility that comes with it.”
“This year almost 500 players signed up for the player draft,” he said. “The league is already much bigger than last year. It’s all about consolidating the position and delivering a product of the highest quality.”
“We are trying to get the best here. Zaheer Khan has already signed up along with 6-7 Indian players who played last year like Munaf Patel, Praveen Kumar and Pravin Tambe. Yuvraj Singh is almost there. We hope to make the announcement in two-three days. We are in the final stage on negotiations with him,” Mulk said.
Any T20 tournament you are looking at minimum 20-30 days in the FTP. So a 10-day tournament is an affordable window. Next year we intend to play for 15 days,” Mulk concluded.
“We have always had a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to corruption. The ICC has done the whole monitoring of the tournament. We have outsourced anti-corruption and dope testing to the ICC. All key elements are outsourced to the ICC.”
