After the world cup 2019, every team started to prepare for the T20 World cup that can happen in Australia next year. In this process, Team India is also giving chances to some new players like Navdeep Saini, Deepak Chahar and Rishabh pant as a wicket-keeper batsman. Recently, former Indian captain, Sourav Ganguly said that Rishabh pant will be the X-factor for team India in world T20 2020. Now former Indian player Zaheer Khan picks Hardik Pandya as team India’s x-factor in world T20 2020.

“Hardik has spent enough time working towards it (power-hitting). First and foremost, he is someone who likes hitting a lot of balls in the nets and work towards achieving consistency in his power-hitting. Over and above that, you have got to have the basic power-hitting ability, which he has. The practice makes it perfect,” Zaheer said.

“He does change the balance of the team, and that’s the balance which we were talking about. So, if a team has that kind of option, it really gives the side the luxury to play an extra bowler or an extra batsman. You can use his services as just a pure batsman and then add a specialist bowler, or you can just look at him as someone who will give you those four overs. And then play an extra batsman,” Zaheer concluded.

“The longer format, that’s the format that suits Saini. Saini has got the pace and consistency in length,” Zaheer told Mumbai Mirror about Navdeep Saini.

“I have always said that if he had that outswinger for the right-handers, he will be a nightmare for the batting sides. I am glad that it has happened now. He needs to work on his fitness and keep doing the things that have brought him this far. With the experience he will keep getting better and better,” Zaheer Kahn about Jasprit Bumrah.
