Finally the wait is over and BCCI is going to launch the 14th edition from today onwards. IPL has always been that stage where entertainment is always kept on its apex heights while talented players are nurtured thoroughly in the tournament and this is why it is called as the most entertaining tournament in the world.

The previous edition was played at UAE due to the rapid coronavirus scare which eventually terminated the plan over playing in India but now this edition is the homecoming of IPL to the Indian soil after a long 2 years gap. So this is the main reason behind more excitement towards India’s best league.

The tournament is going to be played behind the closed doors due to the immediate effect to control coronavirus scare. So spectators have the only option to watch it out through digital apertures.

The inaugural match of IPL-2021 will be played between the 5-Time IPL champions and the Defending Champions Mumbai Indians who will be going to take on Royal Challengers Bangalore. So it is the epic clash between Indian Team Vice Captain Vs Indian Team Captain.

Before the commencement of the match, a short concern has hit the Mumbai Indians camp as there two players are going to miss out the first match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. They are core players for the franchise and their absence might affect team balance.

Players like Quinton de Kock and Adam Milne will miss out the first match against RCB. Both the players are under a period of quarantine rules as they arrived in India late. Quinton de Kock was busy in servicing the national team playing against Pakistan in two ODI matches out of 3 match series. Now both the players will continue the quarantine time and might be seen in the upcoming match.

It will be a major concern of Defending Champions as he opens for the team throughout the IPL-2020. In his absence, Chris Lynn or Ishan Kishan might open for Mumbai Indians in the opening match.
