It is in the list of matches that Asia Cup  was scheduled in August and September but due to the outbreak of COVID-19, pandemic situation made everything worse by stopping international cricket for a while. Now the updates has been reported that Pakistan Cricket Board will commence the edition of 2022 in Pakistan. The Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan Cricket Board, Wasim Khan said that the upcoming edition of Asia Cup 2021 will be taking place in Srilanka and the 2022 will be in Pakistan.

“The next Asia Cup will be hosted in Sri Lanka in June and we have got hosting rights now for the 2022 Asia Cup,” quoted by Wasim Khan said by Times Now.

The Asia Cup was earlier scheduled in August and September but unexpectedly that wouldn’t happen. T20 World Cup was also in the lists in 2021 to be held at Australia. But situations got worse and couldn’t happen. In this year at the time of September Indian Premier League was held in UAE.
