On 31st January, finally the first domestic tournament Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy has been concluded as Tamil Nadu has clinched the title for the sixth time by defeating Baroda in the finals. The domestic season was commendable as there was many youngsters who has shown  their ability.

There are some players who has been in the limelight after showcasing the immense talent in the domestic tournament. With this kind of form, there are five players who can be crucial one in the coming auction of 14the edition of Indian Premier League.

1] Vishnu Solanki

He has scored 267 runs in just 8 matches for Baroda and referred as the fifth most highest run scorer of the tournament. His tremendous knock in the quarter final match against Haryana was the limelight show by scoring unbeaten 71 from 46 balls to seal the semi final berth. He hit 6,4,6 in the last three balls of the match where team needed 15 off that three deliveries. With this form, franchise like CSK, RCB, MI can bid on him.

2]  Jalaj Saxena

The all rounder of Kerala team has been influential in the season by his bowling ability with taking 10 wickets in just 5 matches with an economic spell of 6.26. Teams like RR, CSK, KXIP can run behind him in the auction.

3] Lukman Meriwala

Another left arm fast medium bowler Lukman Meriwala who has impressed everyone with his skills by taking 15 wickets in just 8 matches with best bowling figure of 5-8. He was the second highest wicket taker. Teams like KKR, DC can buy him to make crucial bowling unit.

4] Kedar Devdhar

Baroda has produced more competent players in this season and another one is Kedar Devdhar who has scored 349 runs in 8 matches with strike rate of 113.68. He is the second most run scored in the tournament. His knock of unbeaten 99 off 71 balls against Maharashtra and 64 against Punjab was the show-stopper performance. Teams like CSK, RR, RCB, KKR can bid for him.

5]  Mohammed Azharuddeen

Young Kerala cricketer Mohammed Azharuddeen is the one who grabbed the more attention in the tournament by scoring 214 runs in 5 matches with strike rate of 194.54. His unbeaten 137 off 54 balls against Mumbai was the show-stopper performance in the tournament. Franchises like CSK, KKR can bid on him to create a crucial opener for the team.
