Australian speedster Nathan Coulter-Nile was released by Defending Champions. This was unexpected move as his stats with 41 wickets in 33 matches is commendable but with frequent injuries he came into the thoughts of back-ups.

2] Sheldon Cottrell

West Indies speedster Cottrell who was sold at whooping amount of 8.5Cr by Kings XI Punjab has been released in this year. He couldn’t make that mark which was expected from him. It is also said his bowling against Rajasthan Royals was the one who made him out of the team by hitting 5 sixes in an over by Rahul Tewatia.

3] Kedhar Jadhav

His performance with Yellow Army was the most disappointing one seen in the concluded edition as his strike rate was just below par than 100. Even his ageing factor was also kept in mind and thus makes him released.

4] Moeen Ali

England all rounder Moeen Ali hasn’t been good form in the concluded edition with Royal Challengers Bangalore. Team expected more from his as his performance in the IPL-2019 in the middle order was commendable but last year it was devastating and couldn’t even make place in the playing XI also.

5] Jimmy Neesham

Kiwi all rounder Jimmy Neesham also had a disappointing season with Kings XI Punjab. Team expected more to contribute with both bat and ball but unfortunately he could only play five matches and managed to score only 19 runs with getting only 2 wickets by economy rate of almost of 10. Thus makes him released from the team.
