Winnipeg Hawks won the Global T20 Canada League 2019 by Defending Vancouver Knights in the Finals. Maybe it was one of the best thrilling finals; it finished in the super over. Winnipeg overs won the match in the super over. JP Duminy awarded with the player of the tournament award.
A lucky draw was conducted where Doull requested Tariq Anwar of Turkish Airlines, to draw a name out of the box to declare the winner. Winner awarded with two Business class tickets of flights. A girl whose name is Angela Singh won this Lucky Draw.

My favorite moment of GT20 2019: the 'random' prize draw for two plane tickets with the winner standing 15 feet away waiting for her name to be called out. "Outstanding luck there. Two business class tickets from Turkish Airlines for Angela Singh." pic.twitter.com/M0Mscc8xAu

After winning the Global T20 Canada League 2019, Winnipeg Hawks Captain Rayad Emrit said, “I am just overwhelmed. We were off to a tremendous start. The pitch was getting slower and lower. We should have got to 200, but 192 was par. We were trying to make him wait (Russell) as long as possible. We held our nerves well. Sana, excellent last over and excellent Super Over. Sana said he wanted; I had no problem. Happy that he put his hand up and delivered. Nobody backed us to win the final; we believed we could do that. The close wins gave us extra motivation. It’s an excellent tournament; it’ll go from strength to strength.”
Vancouver Knights captain Shoaib Malik, “We fought well despite losing early wickets. We have Iron Man (Russell) in our team; he almost won the game. He told me that he was up for bowling two overs. I was expecting more. The opposition was hitting left and right; that’s when he offered to bowl two more. Super Overs are always tough. We are professionals; we have a job to do. We were expecting a couple of sixes from Russell, but Sana bowled well. I’d like to congratulate the team that played well. I wish all the best to the organizers.”
