Aakash Chopra, the commentator and the cricket analyst who gives suggestions and reports regarding teams and players also displayed his view over SRH ahead of IPL 2021.

In IPL2020, Sunrisers Hyderabad had shown some good cricket by battling in each match. They had a roller coaster ride in this season that started the league on a bad note but with each game going towards they had battled like a warrior. Each and every player contributed in a good manner made team to qualify for the playoffs. Sunrisers are the team who always promote players to shine and the youngsters always prove the management right.

With the upcoming edition, Aakash Chopra suggests SRH to retain some of their players to get back stronger. As the mega auction is proposed to be scheduled so it is necessary for the teams to retain some of their star players back to the team.

He made his investigation regarding the retaining players for Hyderabad on you tube channel and stated that team needs to more youngsters to the squad. The performances of youngsters like Abdul Samad, Priyam Garg, Abhishek Sharma and T. Natarajan prove team to the positive attribute. He also added that Hyderabad can’t have back up of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar as they don’t have any place for other overseas players.

“They cannot get a back-up for Bhuvi. They cannot get a foreign bowler also as their overseas players had done well, and you can play only four of them. Jason Holder and Rashid Khan have done well. They have not been able to play Billy Stanlake, Nabi was sitting out. So there is not much scope of a change,” quoted by Chopra.

Chopra suggested that team should retain Rashid khan and Skipper Warner at any cost through right to match card. They also need to retain players such as T Natarajan and Bhuvaneshwar kumar.

“Warner and Rashid will be my first two picks whom I will like to retain for sure. After that, I will look towards T. Natarajan and Bhuvaneshwar kumar, I will retain one of them for sure with Right to match card for the other”. Stated by Chopra.

Aakash Chopra also reckoned that they should also try to retain their backbone players like Williamson and Manish Pandey. He also said that Warner and Rashid are the players who should be retained at any cost while the management has to take some tough and harsh call on the future towards Holder, Bairstow and Williamson.
