Chennai Super Kings are well known for their epic comebacks but what they are struck this year is their massive blow over their team combination and injury concerns led in the camp in the 15th edition of Indian Premier League.
Chennai Super Kings are standing at the 9th spot in the points table with only one win from their last six matches and also having a devastating net run rate of -0.63.
One more loss could lead them to almost out of the playoffs race which could make the CSK army to another failure like led in the IPL-2020.
Their next match will be against Mumbai Indians on 21st April 2022 and Mumbai Indians are also in the same condition like what CSK is at present now. They are also almost sailing in the exclusion from playoffs spot and right now present at last position of the points table.
One news which struck in CSK’s campaign after the exclusion of Deepak Chahar is the now exclusion of Adam Milne due to hamstring injury.
Adam Milne has played only one match in the tournament which was against Kolkata Knight Riders where he has bowled only 2.3 overs by conceding 19 runs.
Now CSK Management has got a replacement for Adam Milne and that will be Sri-Lankan medium pacer Matheesha Pathirana.
Now it will be interesting if Matheesha Pathirana gets into the playing XI as CSK is already in a big havoc situation after carrying the unsettled bowling line-up in the tournament.
