The 5 time IPL champions Mumbai Indians are well known for giving tough competition to any side with much and more progressive strength. They had given goosebumps to each and every franchise in the last decade where they won 5 IPL Titles and became the most successful team in the history of IPL.

Rohit Sharma led the team from 2013 when Ricky Ponting stepped down from the captaincy spot of Mumbai Indians and from there, the history was meant to be created as winning 4 times cup in alternative seasons with defending the title in 2020 also.

But in this season, they are totally off track and lost 5 consecutive matches in a row and right now at the bottom of the points table.

In the previous match, they gave a tough competition to Punjab Kings but couldn’t clear the rope for that 2 points for their season opening.

Another bad news struck in the MI Camp is the fine allotted over Rohit Sharma due to slow over rate carried out in the match against Punjab Kings.

Rohit Sharma has been fined with 24 Lakhs whereas other Mumbai Indians Players had been fined with 6 Lakhs respectively due to maintaining slow over rate during the match against Punjab Kings

If the team again gets into the involvement of slow over rate in the next match, then it will be a big trouble for Mumbai Indians and will dig out more issues.

As if it repeats again then Rohit Sharma will be banned for one match which might bring more trouble for the most successful team of IPL.

Their next match will be against the most competitive side of the season and that is Lucknow SuperGiants which will be played on 16th April 2022 at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai.
