West Indies had a historic outing against Bangladesh as they won two consecutive red ball match against Bangladesh in their backyard itself. With this win they clinched the series and all the credits goes to the Big Man Rahkeem Cornwall with his phenomenal bowling skills.

His bowling stance with that low catch….. Speechless one by the Big Man….. it can be said that that was absolutely astonishing catch!!!!

The whole incident came out in the 62nd over where Bangladesh was on the situation to just need 17 runs to level the series whereas Caribbeans need one wicket to clinch the historic win. At that time Warrican bowled a awesome delivery to Mehedy Hasan who was at 31 off 56 balls had a bit of cut on the bat and ball gone in the hands of Cornwall and that too was much low height catch.

With that catch Caribbeans won the match by 17 runs. Even Cornwall was awarded as Man of the Match for registering nine wickets.

“It was good performance. The whole team had great energy from day-1. The team management backed us very well. Once the conditions allow you to spin it, I backed myself to spin it. You meed to be patient and bowl consistently. Practice hard in the mornings with my slip catching. I just back myself that when the ball comes to me, I will catch it” said by Rahkeem Cornwall.

Even he had conservation with the ESPN on the match and pitch conditions and quoted

“The ball bounces a bit more in Dhaka. There was not much bounce or spin in Chittagong. I got a bit more purchase here. I worked with what I get, with whatever pace I got out of the wicket, I use it as my strength. It is always a good feeling to take five wickets. Helped put the team in a good position to win the team. The plan was to keep things simple, be patient and put the balls in the right area. I think the way our batsmen set up the game the day before we knee that the bowlers had to do a good job today”.
