Mumbai Indians Names new Player as a replacement cover for Arjun Tendulkar for the remaining IPL-2021

Arjun Tendulkar son of Legend Sachin Tendulkar was bought by Mumbai Indians at his base cost of Rs 20 Lacs in the IPL auction of 2020. With him harmed, Simarjeet Singh, the 23-year-old Delhi quick seamer, has been roped in as the substitution.

Simarjeet was one of India’s five reserved bowlers on their restricted overs visit to Sri Lanka in July, close by Ishan Porel, Sandeep Warrier, Arshdeep Singh, and R Sai Kishore. Till date, he has played 10 First class matches, 19 List A games and 15 T20s, and has packed away 37, 19 and 18 wickets in the particular configurations.

Mumbai Indians, who are presently positioned at the fifth situation in the points table, with five wins from 11 matches, will next face Delhi Capitals in Sharjah on Saturday, October 2.
