Australia vs India 2020, 1st ODI: Probable Playing XI, Match preview


Finally the international cricket is going to take a step forward for entertaining each and every spectator. It will start from the best two sides that is India and the other is Australia. The epic clash will start from 27th November 2020. The series will start from ODIs.

The first ODIs of India vs Australia will be on 27th November 2020 at SCG. Both the team will compete for a good start and it is predictable that when both the best team meet drama will sure.

The series will start of with three match of ODIs and the first match is scheduled on 27th November. Both the sides seems to be give a tougher competition due to the competent players in the squads. Aaron Finch will be the captain of Australian Cricket team with Pat Cummins coming into action as the Vice Captain of the Australian side while on the other side Virat Kohli is the captain of Indian Team and in the absence of their vice captain Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul will take the responsibility of the vice captain spot.

The last time Australia played a series in the limits overs was against England which took place in September 2020 in the mid of the IPL2020 whereas India last seen in the international jersey earlier this year against the New Zealand Team.

These two teams had met last time in January for three match ODI series in India where India won the series by 2-1. After this huge gap it will be very much entertaining to watch the best side in the rivalry competition.

Australia is much experienced about their home soil and after this outbreak of COVID-19 they had a series of match with England, so it is certain that they have a pretty good line up in the ODI format. It is likely that Aaron Finch and David Warner will open for the Australian side with Steven Smith and Marnus Labuschagne will be at number 3&4 slot respectively. Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis might be considered as the middle order batsman followed by the wicket keeper Alex Carey. The bowling unit of Australia can be the mighty trio Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins. Adam Zampa might be the only spinner for the Australia. If things weren’t support them then Maxwell will join with Zampa for the spinning department.

With the absence of Rohit Sharma, it is likely to say it might be Mayank Agarwal with Shikhar Dhawan would be consider as opener. The third and fourth slot can be the skipper Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer followed by the wicket keeper KL Rahul.

Hardik Pandya is set to make a comeback after a long time due to injury, his presence will make the middle order more stronger. It is predicted that Ravindra Jadeja can be there in playing XI.

The bowling unit can be Mohammad Shami, Yuzvendra Chahal and Jasprit Bumrah. There will be management and skipper decision for the allotment of the 3rd pacer of the team that will be between Navdeep Saini and Shardul Thakur.
