This year is full of entertainment for cricket fans. Everyone is enjoying the most glamorous league of cricket – IPL now. After IPL ends the ICC cricket world cup 2019 will start in England where world’s top 10 cricket team will participate to win the championship. Out of these 10 teams, 8 teams( India, England, Australia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, South Africa, New Zealand) have directly qualified in world cup and 2 teams qualified through world cup qualifier tournament – Afghanistan and West Indies.
Even before the IPL, there has been curiosity among cricket fans and media about Team India squad. Indian players are trying to perform their best in IPL to get attention of selectors so that they can be selected in Indian team squad for world cup. Everyone eyes are on selectors because finally they are going to announce the squad.
MSK Prasad, the Team India selection chairman announced that Indian team squad for world cup will be announced on or before 20th April. He said he has full faith on his team and that the team will surely win the world cup.

MSK Prasad was present at Lord Sri Kalahasteeswara at Srikalahasti town, Andhra Pradeash when media reporters gathered there and started asking him questions about Team India. He said “I had a good ‘darshan’ of the God along with my family. So far as Team India is concerned, we will be announcing our team for the World Cup on or before April 20, I am confident that we are going to announce a good team. We have worked on this for almost one and a half years. We have observed all the players, tested good combinations, We are confident that the team we will announce, will definitely win the World Cup to be held in England in 2019.
Prasad also appeal the people of India and AP to excise their voting rights in upcoming general elections, he said “India is going for elections from April 11. AP is going for Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in the first phase itself. Vote is the right that the Constitution has given to us. The electing proper candidate is our moral right. I suggest all of you utilise your boring right and let the country and the state go ahead in the path of development.”
