If the rules are relaxed, then both Rohit and Ishant could be available for the (second) tour game,” One of the officials quoted to the Indian Express.
If the request gets rejected both the players have to go for a full 14 days quarantine in the hotel room which would definitely lead to absence in the initial matches of Test series. Rohit have to travel for the remaining test series where he will be allowed to have practice matches at Sydney’s Olympic Park. This will ultimately lead Rohit as a consideration towards from the third test which will be held in Sydney from 7th January 2021.
Will Cricket Australia give Rohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma relaxation towards quarantine norms?
It is certain that the quarantine norms are mandatory for each and every player which is accessed by the Australian Government and the Australian board have no roles in giving chance towards that norms whereas after the request put by BCCI, Cricket Australia is having some sort of discussion with the authorities to re consider Ishant and Rohit to the Indian squad.
“The Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) recognises some other travellers should be exempt from quarantine requirements as long as they take steps to mitigate risks. These travellers must apply for a quarantine exemption in line with state and territory requirements.” Stated by some officials.
Ishant and Rohit for the Australian Tour- Is it the quarantine norms the main issue, main question over the fitness of both the players.
It is a uncertain that the Rohit had in a trouble over the fitness issue which made him to fail in attaining the fitness level propagation at National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore. Both the players are undergoing rehabilitation and might have to miss the series till the players attain a better fitness in the coming next 7-10 days.

After the conclusion of IPL 2020 which was conducted in UAE, Rohit had travelled to Bangalore for the fitness issues rather than travelling to Australia is controversial discussion which definitely needs a strong answer. BCCI has stated that the duo have to undergo some fitness training at NCA in Bangalore and will report in Australia for the test series which will be held from. 17th December 2020. NCA had reckoned for the above given statement that the duo strongly needs sort of fitness training of at least three weeks to join for the Test series.
Both the players Ishant Sharma and Rohit Sharma are at Bangalore and are monitored under physio Ashish Kaushik, NCA Chief Rahul Dravid and selection committee chairman Sunil Joshi.
