Big blow for India: injury scares of Kedar Jadhav

Less than a month left to start the ICC cricket world cup 2019. India will start their campaign from June 5 against South Africa. Everyone predicts that India is the one the team who will win the world cup 2019. But before the world, India’s, leading player Kedar Jadhav suffer a shoulder injury during the CSK vs Punjab match in IPL on Sunday. The X-ray will happen today.

“Kedar Jadhav’s getting an x-ray and a scan today,” Super Kings coach Stephen Fleming said after the match. “We’re hopeful for him. I don’t think we’ll see him again in this tournament for us. So now his attention will turn to what it looks like for the World Cup. He’s in some discomfort, but we need to be accurate with our assessments tomorrow. Fingers crossed that it’s nothing too serious, but it didn’t look that good.”

Jadhav will not feature in the reminder if IPL-12. In this IPL he could not perform well. He scored 162 runs in the 14 matches at an average of 18. But his experience is valuable for Chennai super kings iht playoffs matches.

For team India, he plays like a 6th bowling option. Kedar picked wickets on crucial wickets. He also plays the finisher role in the India team.

Chennai super kings played their last league game of IPL 2019 against Kings XI Punjab. CSK lost this match. Chennai has finished in the top two in the points table. Now CSK gets an extra chance if they will lose in qualifier one.

Mumbai is the table topper of IPL 2019 with 18 points. CSK and MI will face each other in qualifier one on May 7. The qualifier one takes place in Chennai, and the final takes place in Hyderabad. Eliminator will be played between Delhi and Hyderabad.
