India are playing against South Africa in the fifth match on Sunday, June 19. In addition, the game is occurring at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. India are coming into this apparatus in the wake of winning against South Africa in the fourth T20 match on Friday. South Africa skipper Temba Bavuma proceeded to win the toss  and he chose to bowl first.

The men in blue were looking languid so far with the quick departure of Ruturaj Gaikwad. A comparative pattern went on concerning the middle order. However, Dinesh Karthik assisted India with getting to 169 runs.

South Africa had a horrendous beginning and the pattern went on till the end. The Proteas were in fact all out for 87 runs as Temba Bavuma didn’t come to bat once more due to sustained injury. India dominated the game by 82 runs.

Dinesh Karthik proceeded to win the man of the match award in the fourth T20 match. Besides, he scored 55 runs from 27 balls with a  mammoth strike rate of 203.70.

India and South Africa will hope to dominate the game. Assuming that South Africa dominates the game they seal the series and in the event that India dominates the game they can win their most memorable T20 home series against South Africa but eventually rain led the game to be washed out and made the series levelled.

Former Indian cricketer Ashish Nehra feels that Mohammad Shami won’t make it into the Indian group for the impending T20 World Cup in Australia.

Seems like he (Mohammed Shami) doesn’t feature in the current scheme of things for the T20 World Cup. But we all know about his abilities. Even if he doesn’t play in this year’s T20 World Cup, India will definitely consider him for the 2023 World Cup at home.

We don’t have many ODIs this year and Shami is on a break at the moment after the IPL. India can play him in England for the 50-over games after the Test match.

You will play three ODI games against a top-quality white-ball team like England, and you would definitely love to beat them. And for that, you need your best bowlers. I would definitely take Shami in that bracket.”said by Ashish Nehra.
