Few days ago, a news was came out of conflict between Baroda skipper Krunal Pandya and Deepak Hooda which caused Hooda to opt out for the domestic tournament. Now with all examination purpose, Baroda Cricket Association came to the result that they had suspended Deepak Hooda from domestic season of 2021-22. The decision was took on Thursday.
This all scenario came out when team was practicing for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy sessions where a rift was came out between them thus making him out of team. The members of the BCA has decided to stay on the decision which they released and quoted that with all mandatory examinations, the outcome has judged.
Deepak Hooda can again play for Baroda for the 2021-22 season: BCA
“The apex council decided that Hooda won’t be considered to represent the Baroda team for the current domestic season. The decision was taken after considering reports from team manager and coach about the incident as well as communication with Hooda”, quoted by Satyajit Gaekwad as said by Cricbuzz.
Even after that one more justification came out by the chairman that the right hand batsman can play for other domestic seasons for Baroda which will be decided by BCCI whether it will be Ranji or Vijay Hazare Trophy.
“Hooda did wrong thing by walking out of the team without discussing his issues with the management. But banning him for the entire season was unnecessary. He could have been reprimanded for his act and then allowed to play”. Said by BCA Joint Secretary Parag Patel.
The abusive language initiated by Skipper Krunal Pandya made him into leave the tournament where he officially mailed the statement to the BCA also. He was even appointed as the vice captain of the Baroda Team for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
