Delhi Capitals invite Taimur in the squad as Kareena Kapoor posts an adorable pic of 3-year old

IPL and its glory are just unimaginable to match, not only for other cricketing tournaments but for some other sports also. IPL lures players from different creeds and countries all across the world; even the players from other sports dream of playing in IPL.

Such is the competition and popularity of IPL that not only spectators but also bigger celebrities enjoy every bit of action provided by the marquee event. After the Covid-19 pandemic hit the World, it is IPL, which is helping people stay inside and enjoy some thrilling action from their home comforts.

Though without spectators, the 13th edition of the tournament has been a huge hit so far. And there is a reason behind that as Indian Premier League is not all about India, it gets its heartbeats from the spectators, its brains from Dhonis and Sharmas, its glitz from Pollards and Pandyas, its insanity from Lynns and Russells and all these things together produce world’s biggest cricket carnival.

Recently, Kareena Kapoor posted a picture of her adorable son Taimur, holding a bat in front of stumps, on Instagram. Kareena Kapoor captioned the picture – “Any place in the IPL? I can play too” with the little star in his strides batting on a cricket pitch.

Cricket bat in the hands of 3-year old Taimur might not surprise many as Cricket flows in Taimur’s family. His grand-father and Kareena’s father in-law Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi represented India at international level in 1960-70’s. The caption and picture were indeed adorable enough to catch eyeballs of everyone as fans reacted heavily on the post.

The post also caught the attention of IPL 2020’s youngest team Delhi Capitals. And Delhi Capitals reacted in a lovely way to invite the little champ in their squad. In a fitting response, the Delhi Capitals replied – “We’d love to see him roar with us. A true Nawab always belongs to the Capital city.”
