Now, Kolkata Knight Rider’s captain Dinesh Karthik has picked best possible IPL XI of the players with whom he has shared the dressing room. Surprisingly, Rohit Sharma has been placed at. 4. He is one of the highest run getters in the history of the tournament and most successful captain of the league also. Sharma will also take over the reins of Karthik’s XI.
At No.5 Dinesh Karthik walks himself and he will don the glove. Karthik will be followed by the dre-russ ‘Andre Russell’. The West-Indian player is one of the best finishers in T20 cricket. Russell has scored 1400 runs in 64 matches of the IPL with a strike rate of 186.14.
The Spin bowling slots are taken by the magical duo of Sunil Narine and Yuzvendra Chahal. The pace contingent will have the likes of Glenn McGrath, Mitchell Stark and Jasprit Bumrah. The deadly trio is a nightmare for any opposition.
While the XI looks formidable and strong to beat any team. Dinesh Karthik also regrets not picking MS Dhoni and Ravichandran Ashwin as he has not played with them in IPL so far.
