Dwayne Bravo to miss the next few matches For CSK

Yesterday, Chennai Super Kings played against Mumbai Indians in the season opener of IPL 2020 and won the season opener by 5- wickets. After Mumbai posted 162 runs on the board, Chennai chased down the target with 4-balls to spare. Ambati Rayudu and Faf du Plessis were the star performers of the match with their twin fifties. With the win CSK also narrowed down the win-loss gap against Mumbai Indians. So far, CSK has 12-17 win-loss record and will look to further improve it in upcoming matches.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians lost their 8th consecutive season opener on Saturday. In a thrilling contest, they showed glimpses of brilliance but could not convert them into a match winning performances.

But during the yesterday’s match, CSK missed the services of Dwayne Bravo due to niggle. Now he will miss the next few matches also.

“Dwayne [Bravo] was injured so he is probably out for the first two games. But Sam’s [Curran] performance was a big positive. His attitude is quite infectious. His performance today was quite outstanding. Straight off the plane [from England] yesterday,” Fleming was quoted as saying during a post-match press conference.

Chennai Super Kings have gave chance to Sam Curran in the Absence of Dwayne Bravo. Sam Curran played really well for them.

“If Dwayne was fit, it would have been a toss-up if he [Sam Curran] had played at all. So, he has taken this opportunity and put some pressure on,” Fleming added.
