Players auction has one of the most interesting factors in the Indian Premier League. Every year, Before the start of the IPL a mini-auction takes place and the mega auction takes place after three IPL season every time. So as of now, next year the mega will happen.
Unfortunately, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation has created certain economical and physical constraints, which can potentially lead to the scheduled IPL 2021 mega auctions getting postponed.
If the mega auction happens before the 2021 season, a lot of IPL teams would be looking to set things straight. It shall be the perfect opportunity for sides to strengthen their weak areas.
1. Aaron Finch (RCB)
RCB bought Aaron Finch in the Indian Premier League auction 2020 for a perfect opening batsman. But he has failed to deliver the best performance in this season for the team. He has scored 221 runs to his name in 10 innings at a paltry strike-rate of 110.50 so far. So RCB may release him before the next year Auction.

2. Pat Cummins (KKR)
Kolkata Knight Riders bought Pat Cummins during the IPL 2020 Auction at INR 15.5 crores. He has taken only six wickets in the eleven matches at an economy of 7.82. Cummins has failed to perform according to his price tag.
3. David Miller
David Miller has played only one matches in his IPL so far. Because RR has settled four overseas batsmen like Steve Smith, Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer and Jos Buttler. So Rajasthan Royals might release him before the next year Auction.
4. Shane Watson
Shane Watson is playing for Chennai Super Kings since 2018 and he has a regular member of CSK team since then. In the last two season, Watson was the one the most successful batsman for them. But in this year of IPL, he has failed to repeat his last year success. CSK team has dropped him from the playing XI.
5. Billy Stankle
Billy Stankle was the regular member of the playing XI in the last season before he left the team due to injury. In IPL 2018, He took 7wickets in 6 matches at an economy of 8.33. But In this year of IPL, he hasn’t got a chance to play the match for SRH and SRH might release him before the next year auction.
6. Chris Lynn
Chris Lynn was the biggest name in the previous season of IPL when he was playing for Kolkata Knight Riders. But KKR released him before the last year auction and Mumbai Indians bought him in the team. But Chris Lynn hasn’t got a chance to play the match because MI has Quinton De Kock as an opener.
7. Alex Carry
Australian Wicket-keeper Batsman Alex Carry was a big addiction for Delhi Capitals as a backup wicket-keeper option and a lower order Batsman. But Before the next year Auction, DC might release him and look for an explosive lower order Batsman.
8. Glenn Maxwell
Glenn Maxwell has scored 102 runs in 10 innings at a strike-rate of just 102. With the ball, his performance has been relatively better- two wickets in 19 overs at an economy rate of 7.79. Maxwell has failed to hit a six in this IPL. So KXIP might release him before the next year auction.
