A hard time is going in the camp of Indian Cricket Team as they had lost totally in the run-up of bowling department. They were never in a big competition against Mighty England side as there batsman totally ruled the two days of the first test. The international comeback in the home soil for the Men In Blue is being more worse as the bowlers couldn’t achieve the feet appropriately.

The visitors had registered a mammoth total in front of the hosts of 578 in the span of 190.1 overs. The actual courtesy will be from the skipper himself Joe Root who played a phenomenal knock with 218 runs followed by Ben Stokes and Sibley with 82 and 87 runs respectively.

Only good thing happened to the hosts is the Jasprit Bumrah picking up 3 wickets by conceding 84 runs in 36 overs.

But now Former Indian Cricketer Gautam Gambhir feels that Bumrah should be dropped from the second test and should be preserved for the pink ball test which will be played at Ahmedabad. He considers him as a X factor for the team and his fitness should be kept mandatory.

“I’m not even sure whether Bumrah should be picked for the second Test match. I think India should preserve him for the pink-ball Test match. See, Jasprit Bumrah is a X-Factor in the series, irrespective of what surfaces to play on and you’ve got to keep that in mind too,” said by Gautam Gambhir while interacting with Cricinfo.

“Jasprit Bumrah – you can’t just keep bowling for longer sessions. Give him that short burst of three overs to try and pick a quick wicket, but not long spells because Bumrah is going to be very important going forward in the series. And if something happens to him, India is going to be in serious trouble,” added by Gambhir.
