On Monday, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has confirmed that Hardik Pandya has not yet fully fit and he might miss out on the New Zealand tour completely. Earlier, the all-rounder also missed the New Zealand tour of India-A at the very last moment after being named in the team.
BCCI president Sourav Ganguly said “Hardik is not fit. He is undergoing training at NCA to get back to full fitness. There is no question of him playing even domestic games at the moment,” to The Times of India.
The national selectors have already postponed the announcement of Test teamfor NZ tour for almost half month now as they continue to wait for the final word on Hardik Pandya’s fitness. The all–rounder has not played for India since the home T20Is against South Africa in September due to a back problem. He underwent a surgery on his back in October and has almost recovered.
