Gautam Gambhir, a former India cricketer, lauded Punjab Kings skipper KL Rahul, saying he has more ability than Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Rahul was brilliant against Chennai Super Kings (CSK), scoring an undefeated 98 runs in 42 balls.

After Punjab’s six-wicket victory, Gambhir praised Rahul, saying the Punjab captain has more strokes than anyone else in India. “Why don’t you bat like this if you can bat like this?” He most likely outperforms Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in terms of ability.

“I’m not saying it because I saw KL Rahul do it today; he simply has it.” In India, he has more shots than anyone else. “And he demonstrated that once more,” he stated on ESPNCricinfo.

Rahul looked unstoppable as he hammered every bowler, hitting eight sixes and seven fours in the process. Punjab were able to chase down 135 runs in 13 overs because of his innings. The victory, however, was insufficient to qualify PBKS for the playoffs.

His low strike rate has been a source of criticism for the 29-year-old. However, Rahul has already stated that he is aware of the situation, but that he is unable to adjust his batting technique due to the team’s needs.

Rahul, according to Gambhir, should continue to bat in the same manner as he did against CSK. He also stated that if Rahul had played like this throughout the tournament, PBKS would have qualified for the playoffs.

“Man, just go play. Let the world, not just India, be grateful. Demonstrate your abilities to the rest of the world. People will almost certainly mention you when Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are mentioned. Because you have a far larger number of shots than anyone else in India, “According to Gambhir.

“Punjab Kings would have qualified by now if he had continued to play like this. It’s most likely the pressure of captaincy; I’m not sure what it is, but team management can provide a solution.”
