Another controversy struck in the Indian cricket fraternity and this time Former Indian Cricketer Yuvraj Singh get involved in an unexpected scenario.  He has been filed with FIR on Casteist remark while he was having live interaction with Rohit Sharma on Instagram in 2020.

The case was filed by an advocate from Hisar Division of Haryana.

While having live interaction, Yuvraj Singh had a harsh comment over Dalit community which was not good in any manner and got hit in the world of controversy. He was accused with Section 153, 153A, 295, 505 of IPC. With more cases that of section 3(1) (r) and 3(1) of SC/ST ACT.

On the Instagram live video Yuvraj Singh used word “b***gi” talking on Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav which eventually led Veteran into world of criticism.

“Yeh b***gi log ko kaam nahi hain yeh Yuzi aur isko (Kuldeep)” said by Yuvraj.

“Yuzi ko dekha kya video daala hain apni family ke satth. Maine usko wahi bola ki apne baap ko nacha raha hain, pagal toh nahi hai tu” said by Rohit Sharma.

Apology given By Yuvraj Singh

Just after seeing the wide range of criticism over him, he didn’t took too much time and apologised  quickly. He said that it wasn’t made to hurt anyone’s sentiments.

“This is to clarify I have never believed in any kind of disparity, be it on the basis of caste, colour, creed or gender. I have given and continue to spend my life for the welfare of people. I believe in the dignity of life and respect each individual without exception”.

“I understand that while I was having a conversation with my friends, I was misunderstood which was unwarranted. However, as a responsible Indian I want to say that if I have unintentionally hurt anybody’s sentiments or feelings, I would like to express regret for the same. My love for India and all its people is eternal” stated by Veteran.
