Indian Team beat West Indies in the second ODI Match by 44 Runs

Indian Team defeated West Indies in the second ODI to secure the series at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. Prasidh Krishna was the star with the ball for India as he took 4 wickets for 12 runs in 9 overs to collapse West Indies batting line up  and set the vibe for India’s success. 

The seamer during his spell bowled two maiden overs which is an interesting sight in ODI cricket nowadays.

Shardul Thakur went for a couple in his first spell yet figured out how to return and took 2 wickets in his spell for 41 runs.

Yuzvendra Chahal, Deepak Hooda, Mohammed Siraj and Washington Sundar took one wicket each to ensure West Indies were left with a lot to do while pursuing.

Prior to the day, Nicholas Pooran, the substitute captain instead of an injured Kieron Pollard won the toss and chose that India bat first. Rohit Sharma along with Wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant came to open the innings for India. 

This was Rishabh Pant’s first game as an initial batsman in ODI cricket for India. Nonetheless, the move didn’t pay off as Rohit Sharma was out  for 5 and Rishabh Pant excessively left for 18.
