In the first week of 2020, the couple got engaged and then got married before they were blessed with a baby boy ‘Agastya’ on July 30.

However, on the contrary, 2020 has not been so cheerful for Kun-Fu Pandyaprofessionally. The 25-year old has been on the side-lines due to the back surgery he underwent in October last year. Since then he has not participated in any major domestic tournament or international assignment.

And now, after enjoying his precious time with family in lockdown, the junior Pandya has landed in the UAE for the T20 extravaganza starting from September 19. With no bio-secure training facilities in India, the players will train in UAE for almost a month before the actions begins. IPL will also be first cricket tournament post pandemic for Indian player.

But for all the excitement IPL 2020 brings, it would have been tough for Hardik Pandya to leave behind his newborn and lady love in such times. As soon as Hardik Pandya left home, his wife Natasa Stankovic posted an adorable picture with Pandyaon Instagram.

The Instagram mishap:

However, in a horrible incident, the Instagram removed the post claiming that it went against their community guidelines leaving everyone shell-shocked. Families allowed to join players in UAE:

As per SOPs released by the BCCI, the families can join players in IPL but before entering the bio-bubble first they have to clear tests and then stay quarantined for 7 days. And even after that, they have to adhere to the strict protocols to ensure safety. So far, none of the players has carried his family with him. And in case of Pandya, the couple is unlikely to take any risks with a new -born baby as far as travelling to UAE is concerned.
