IPL 2022 to be played at Six Venues

The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is probably going to commence on 27th March 2022 and will conclude upto 28th May 2022. A report in Sportstar states that the Indian T20 League will be held across 6 venues in the urban communities of Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Pune.

The league stages will involve 70 matches, and all the matches in the association stages will be held in the territory of Maharashtra. The competition will then, at that point, move to Ahmedabad where the season finisher stage matches will occur.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will deliver the full timetable of the 2022 version of the IPL before the finish of February. The 2022 IPL version will be a 10-group competition with two new franchises , Lucknow SuperGiants and Gujarat Titans added to the tournament.

While the Gujarat Titans will be driven by Hardik Pandya, the Lucknow franchise has designated KL Rahul as the captain. Furthermore, since the 2022 release of the competition will be a 10-group undertaking, the teams will be parted into two groups .
