On Monday, the BCCI declared the final list of 590 players who will be going under the sledge in the mega auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 booked to be occurring in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13.
Curiously, the veteran Indian player, Ambati Rayudu has enrolled himself as a wicket-keeping choice for the forthcoming auction.
As per the players’ list distributed by the BCCI on the authority site of IPL, Ambati Rayudu has enrolled himself as a wicket-keeping batsman, with the base cost of INR 2 crores. He was picked by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2018 auction at the cost of INR 2.2 crore, while his base price was INR 50 lakhs.
Among 590 enlisted players who have enrolled for the auction, 228 are covered players, 355 are uncapped players and 7 have a place with Associate Nations.
The 10 IPL franchisees – Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Delhi Capitals (DC), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Lucknow SuperGiants (LSG), Mumbai Indians (MI), Punjab Kings (PBKS), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Sunrisers Hyderabad (RCB) and Team Ahmedabad will be participating in the upcoming mega auction.
A sum of 370 Indian players, and 220 players from abroad nations will be available for anyone in what vows to be an activity pressed IPL 2022 Player Auction in Bengaluru.
