With the IPL 2020 approaching its business end this Sunday, the franchise will be allowed to use Mid-season transfer window to recalibrate their plans and rejig team combinations. The transfer window will allow franchises to transfer or loan players from other franchises.

Chennai Super Kings will be one of the franchises, who would like to make best use of the window. CSK hasn’t had a great start of the tournament. With just two wins in 6 matches, CSK is lurking in lower part of points table. While their bowling has looked good in patches, their middle order has been the main concern of Chennai Super Kings so far.

With CSK looking forward to turning things around, a cryptic tweet from Lungi Ngidi might worry CSK management. Lungi Ngidi, who has been one of the top performers for CSK in past, was included in first two matches of this season but failed to impress with his bowling and subsequently missed out all next matches.

On Friday, Ngidi posted a cryptic tweet with wordings: “There’s a lot of bad things that they wishing on me.” Though, his tweet was quite unclear to understand; some people linked this to Cricket South Africa’s Black Lives Matter campaign. Some people suggested that the tweet might be aimed at people who recently harassed him for his stance on BBM moment.

The wording of tweet also fit in rap-artist Drake’s hit song, “God’s Plan”. And looking at Lungi’s recent tweets, they might be lyrics from song. But the things went serious when a user ‘@ImAbhishek7_’ commented: “You deserve a better IPL team bro”.

Though many a fan comment such things, Lungi noticed the comment and surprisingly liked the comment to raise eyebrows.

Although CSK management hasn’t reacted to situation, it won’t be a surprise if Lungi Ngidi opts for transfer. With teams like KXIP and RCB badly searching for death bowling options, Lungi might be their solution. However, for that to happen, Lungi will require a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from CSK.
