Delhi Capitals are looking one of the most strongest team of the Indian premier League 2020. They have lost only two matches out of seven matches so far. DC is standing at second position in the points table with ten points. Delhi will be the one of two team that will finish in top two in the points table at the end of the league stage.
However, their campaign has handed another big blow, their Indian fast bowler Ishant Sharma has been ruled out from the rest of the IPL 2020 due to injury. They have already lost their important leg spinner Amit Mishra due to injury. While Rishabh Pant is going under the fitness test and won’t play next few matches for Delhi Capitals.
“Delhi Capitals fast bowler Ishant Sharma experienced an acute episode of left rib cage pain while bowling at a team training session on 7 October 2020 in Dubai. Subsequent investigations revealed that he sustained a left internal oblique muscle tear. This injury will unfortunately rule him out of the remainder of the Dream11 Indian Premier League 2020,” a release from the Capitals said.
