Coming to the tweet that made headlines- Jofra had tweeted “Don’t run Raina” and “How Raina out?” five years ago on his account. And accidently, these Tweets were found out by fans to add yet another chapter in the book ‘Jofra – the Astrologer’
As far as Raina is concerned, earlier, there were reports that Raina has left CSK squad after family issue, but now it seems like Raina was unhappy with the team management before he left the team.
Later, the comments from CSK Owner N Srinivasan also indicated that all was not well inside the team. ‘‘He (Suresh Raina) got the limelight over his head and trying to make a fuss,” had commented Srinivasan on Raina leaving the team. Although, in recent interview, Raina has refuted such reports, there is still a lot to clarify from both sides.
On the other hand, team CSK is in tatters after 12 of its staff tested positive for Covid-19. Two of their players- Deepak Chahar and Rituraj Gaikwad– also tested COVID-19 positive. However, on a positive note, all 12 members tested negative in their second Covid-19 test. They will be tested again on 03 September for Covid-19 and if found negative, they will be added to the bio-bubble for training.
