Kangana nick names Indian Captain as ‘PangaKing’
New Zealand tour of team India is all set to begin with five match T20I series. First match of the series is to be played on January 24 at Eden Park Stadium in Auckland. While the rest of the T20Is are scheduled on January 26, 29, 31 and February 2 respectively. After the T20I series, India will play a three match ODI series and a two match test series with New Zealand on a marathon two and half months long tour.
Indian are high on confidence after comprehensively winning the 3 match One Day Internationals Series by 2-1 against formidable Australian team. India made a strong comeback after losing the first match of the series by a massive margin of 10 wickets as Warner and Finch notched up their individual centuries. But after that India bounced back like a bounded lion to completely outscoreAustralian team and won the next two matches to clinch the series.
In both the matches, Indian batting mainstay Captain Virat Kohli scored 78 and 89 runs respectively. He was also named Player of the Series for his match winning knocks.
Now, He has been given a new title “Panga King” by Bollywood diva Kangana Ranaut ahead of the New Zealand tour. She was present at a promotional event of her upcoming movie ‘Panga’, which is to be released on January 24 and coincidentally India will also play their first game of the tour on the same day.
Speaking at the event, Kangana Ranaut said, “I am the Panga queen, and the Panga king of Team India is definitely Virat Kohli. He is fearless and is up for any challenges that come his way. This time we both will take a ‘Panga’ on the same day – mine will be at the theatres, and he will battle it out against the New Zealand team on their home ground. This will be fun.”
