Mitchell Starc likely to miss the the T20I series due to injury


Australia had a good start towards the clash as they had clinched the ODIs series by 2-1. They were much dominating side as compared to the Indian Team whether it is batting, bowling or fielding. Each and every player had shown their immense efforts to showcase better performance. The kind of cricket they played shows the retro Mighty Australian Team. With the win over ODIs series, Australia is moving towards the T20Is series while on the other side India have to build some strategies to produce better outcomes. Yet they had won one match from that ODIs series to save themselves from being clean sweep still they lost the series.

India will definitely to win the T20Is series to bring back the spark for the most anticipated Test series. With the coming edition of T20Is, bad news struck into the Australian campaign, Mitchell Starc likely to miss the T20Is series due to back and rib niggle.

Australian skipper Aaron Finch disclosed on Wednesday when Starc wasn’t included in the final match of the ODIs series against India. The speedster wasn’t into his pace of attack ad he couldn’t get breakthroughs and was lacking in bowling unit. He struggled in both the ODIs matches and now with his injury, Australia are on a disappointing note. With the injury of David Warner and Mitchell Starc, team will definitely lack and create loopholes if couldn’t replace with good replacement.

“Starcy has got a little bit of back and a rib niggle. The medical staff think he will benefit from a few days off,” quoted by Aaron Finch while the toss.

In both the ODIs, Starc could only manage to register only one wicket by conceding 147 runs.

On the other hand, in the opening match of the ODIs series of India vs Australia, Mitchell Starc conceded 20 runs in his first over by bowling no ball and four wides. He doesn’t got thay rhythm and length which he used to be.

India and Australia will be going to play three T20Is which will commence from  Friday that is 4th December 2020.
