Mohammed Shami isn’t part of India’s semi-final XI. India are playing against New Zealand in the semi-finale one of world cup 2019. The match has been sifted into the reserve day due to rain. Mohammed Shami played only four matches in this world cup.
He again made a headline for sending message to an unknown lady on Instagram. This lady posted a picture with the message and said, “anyone wanna tell me why some random cricket player with 1.4M followers keeps messaging me.” But no one knows that it’s a real image or edited image.

Mohammed Shami is in stunning touch
He has taken 14 wickets in 4 world cup matches. Shami also took a hat-trick in this world against Afghanistan and a five-wicket haul. But he did not play against Sri Lanka and also not part of India’s semi-final XI. After this performance Shami said,
“Credit? Who else but me. I give full credit to myself. Because I had to endure all that I was made to go through. What I went through in the past 18 months, it’s me and only me who had to suffer. So credit goes to me. Yes, I thank the Almighty for giving me the strength to fight everything – from family issues to fitness. I am now only focussed on doing well for my country.”
“It wasn’t only about failing Yo-Yo test. There are times when your rhythm goes for a toss. I failed that’s a separate thing, but then I have worked hard and improved my fitness. I feel I am in a good zone now as I have lost weight, got a rhythm and everything is working for me. I now try to maintain my diet, training regime consistently. Because I am feeling stronger, not getting tired easily, my speed has also increased. And as far as skill is concerned, I always knew I can perform well on any track,” he said.
