The Indian Team is now practicing for the much important home series against the World Cup Champions England Team which will commence with red ball cricket starting from 5th February 2021 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The team has initiated their practice session ahead for the first Test series from 2nd February after the completion of the six day strict quarantine norms due to the coronavirus scare.

Indian Skipper Virat Kohli has also joined the team after the paternity leave and having some fun time with other teammates in the first day of the practice session as everyone was playing having their quality time in playing football. BCCI has uploaded a short video of the training camp which was so enjoyable to watch for every fans.

The video consists of Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Kohli and Rishabh Pant. The most funny thing came out was Virat Kohli imitating the legendary helicopter shot in a virtual manner.

He imitates the batting stance of Former Indian Legend MS Dhoni-Helicopter shot. In a virtual stance he acts like hitting the ball with helicopter shot which reminds of MS Dhoni. Within a few minutes the video got so viral and loved among every fan after seeing the loving gesture of Virat Kohli.

BCCI uploaded the video with quoting caption as, “Team bonding. Regroup after quarantine. A game of footvolley. #TeamIndia enjoys a fun outing at Chepauk ahead of the first Test against England- by RajalArora #INDvENG”.

Return of Virat Kohli to the Indian Campaign

After the paternity leave took by Virat Kohli after the Adelaide Test in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Ajinkya Rahane led the team in the remaining Test series. Now with the home series against England, it will be the comeback of Virat Kohli to the responsibility position as a skipper.
