In just a few hours a long wait of months has been coming to an end with an epic blockbuster on Sunday evening with Mumbai Indians taking on Chennai Super Kings- The El-Clasico of IPL.

It will be the clash between the Best vs the Best, the clash between the 5 time IPL Champions vs 3-Time IPL Champions…!!!!

This will be the 30th Match of the tournament which will be played at Abu Dhabi.

Before entering into the second phase, the defending champions are all set to make their squad even more stronger with the addition of one of the star seamers of West Indies and that is none other than Sheldon Cottrell.

He is the shining star of the Caribbeans team with his lethargic pace and deadly bouncers. His CPL Season was also commendable and gave match winning knocks with  bat as well. So it will be interesting to see him in the Mumbai Indians camp.

Cottrell has debuted with Punjab Kings in IPL-2020 where he hasn’t got much praise due to his one bad match against Rajasthan Royals where Rahul Tewatia hit him for 5 sixes in an over. Afterwards he didn’t get many chances in the IPL, but now being selected as a reserved net bowler for Mumbai Indians will make his skills more useful.

Sheldon Cottrell has 42 wickets in T20I format in 34matches with 7 economy rate while in IPL he has played just 6 matches yet and took 6 wickets with an economy rate of 8+.

If things get worse for the defending champions then Cottrell might receive his maiden cap for Mumbai Indians. Now it will be interesting to see how this Caribbean pace gun grabs the opportunity with one of the most successful teams of IPL.
