The chanting of “Pakistan Murdabad” were heard from the fans during the continuous opening Test of the two-match series among India and New Zealand at the Green Park arena in Kanpur on Thursday.

Regardless of whether not en masse, there was a truly clamorous group present on the first day of the Kanpur Test.

In the initial half-hour of India’s innings, the fans attempted to rouse Team India with mottos of “Jeetega bhai Jeetega, India jeetega”

“Pakistan Murdabad” “Murdabad Murdabad” one of the fan chanted during the match.

The political pressure among India and Pakistan has consistently been high. There have been numerous rounds of terminating and deplorable passings of troopers at the line of the two countries.

Ajinkya Rahane, India’s substitute captain, won the throw and chose for bat first. The hosts have looking respectable so far in the wake of choosing to bat first in spite of losing Mayank Agarwal right off the bat in the initial 9 overs itself.

Shubman Gill has driven the way with the bat alongside Cheteshwar Pujara with the Indian group planning to post a major all out on the board in the main innings.

This is a rebound game for Gill who was injured and ruled out of the England visit after the World Test Championship (WTC) last against New Zealand. He was sure to take Virat Kohli’s spot at number four in the Kanpur Test however with KL Rahul getting injured, Gill came out to open the innings with Agarwal.

Also, Shubman Gill was looking too great jumping on the chance as the opener for the Indian group. He has crushed five fours and a six in his half century and has looked amazingly exquisite in his visit.
