According to Owais Shah, team India certainly looks hot favourites for the World Cup as they possess a good blend to talented and experienced players who can handle the pressure well. Owais Shah was also vocal about the role IPL has played in making a robust team India.

Owais Shah said, “India are the favourites to win the ICC T20 World Cup this year. They have a lot of experience, they play a lot of high-pressure cricket in the IPL, they have everything, they have the entire package.”

No doubt IPL has done a world of good to Indian Cricket as the players like Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Hardik Pandya and many others are the by-products of Indian Premier League only.

However, India is going to face severe challenge from the likes of Australia and England in the upcoming World T20 along with them no one can underestimate the West Indies firepower and the uncertainty that Pakistan brings in the ICC events.
