After a tremendous win the Second Chennai Test, Indian Team will aiming to clinch another match with that winning combination. Now the third test will be played at Ahmedabad in the day night affairs. Even every analysts are also praising the Indian Team after their terrific comeback in the home series.
But with great performances now Former Indian Cricketer Sunil Gavaskar thinks there are few players that could get changed with their pale shaded performance. With the likes of Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin, Gavaskar thinks that Kuldeep Yadav might miss the pink ball test. With his exclusion, team will go with Jasprit Bumrah.
“Jasprit Bumrah will be there. It’s a pink ball Test so maybe one of the spinners will find themselves out of the team. Most likely it will be Kuldeep because he hasn’t had too many opportunities, and Axar and R Ashwin. Ashwin you can’t drop for the next five years,” quoted by Gavaskar on Star Sports.
He reckons that Men In Blue Team will go with Mohammad Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah and Ishant Sharma as main pace attack whereas picking of Hardik Pandya might be seen if he can bowl also.

I’m not sure if Hardik Pandya is fit enough to bowl because if he is, he can also slot in and India might actually go with a combination depending on the surface. I don’t know what the surface at the new Motera will be like, but my feeling is that they will definitely go with three seam bowlers and two seamers,” added by Gavaskar.
“You’ll probably have a new-ball attack in Bumrah, Ishant Sharma, and Mohammad Siraj as your three new-ball bowlers, and Kuldeep… he may find himself out of the team because it’s a pink ball Test,” concluded by Gavaskar.
With two matches remaining in the home series and this two match will decide the fate that who will join with Kiwis in the ICC Test Championship Finals.
