So with commencement towards auction, some analysts and Former crickets predict out for the most expensive player ahead of 14th edition of Indian Premier League.

For the auction, total of 125 overseas players, 164 Indian players and 3 associate nation players were registered. According to this Former Indian Cricketer Ashish Nehra reckons who will be the most expensive player that can create highest bid in the auction.

He thinks that Bangladesh’s core player Shakib Al Hasan, can be the highest bid in the coming tournament. Due to the all rounder abilities and his X-factor role he can be the one for the crucial auction. In the previous edition he wasn’t part of cricket due to the ban he faced for one year from the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Shakib Al Hasan can give balance to any IPL Team: Ashish Nehra.

He thinks that his form in the shortest format has always been commendable and the contribution towards bat and ball is always been appreciative and this is also known that he has been great asset for the National side and his presence can be positive.

“Again, one more IPL Auction and plenty of big names, but one name, which according to me is right on top- can be the most expensive player of this IPL auction— is Bangladesh all rounder— Shakib Al Hasan (former captain). He can give balance to any IPL Team in any T20” quoted by Nehra while interacting in a chat show on Star Sports.

He has scored 746 runs in 63 matches in the history of IPL with decent strike rate of 126.7 with an average of 21.3. With ball also he has took 59 wickets with economy rate of 7.46.
