The New Year Test between South Africa and India will be played in Johannesburg from January while the last Test will begin on January 11 in Cape Town.

South Africa have two additional wicketkeepers, Kyle Verreynne and Ryan Rickelton, in the crew and it is not yet clear who gets a chance. Having said that, De Kock not playing will be an enormous blow for the side as his experience will be remembered fondly.

His potential substitutions don’t have a lot of involvement of playing in the longest arrangement of the game. Verreynne has played uniquely in two Test matches up until this point while Ryan Rickelton is yet to make his international debut.

All things considered, India figured out how to post 327 runs in the principal innings on account of a sparkling ton from KL Rahul.

The guests would’ve expected to cross the 400-run mark yet Lungi Ngidi and Kagiso Rabadaset off a breakdown on Day three as India lost their last seven wickets for only 55 runs in the principal meeting.

Be that as it may, South Africa players thought that it is intense accordingly as they were left reeling at 32/4 at one phase. India’s speed triplet of Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj didn’t let the hitters free by any means and got wickets with the new ball. Be that as it may, an association between De Kock and Temba Bavuma assisted the home side with recuperating.
