Rajasthan Royals Squad for IPL 2019

With a fantastic start, Rajasthan Royals (RR) clinch 1st IPL title in 1st Indian premier league season in 2008 by beating the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the final. Every time with new hope to win, RR participate in IPL but yet it couldn’t repeat it’s magic of 2008. After a reasonably successful return in the last season of IPL by reaching in playoffs, Rajasthan Royals will look to push their performance in this IPL to what they did in the first ever season back in 2008.

In the previous season, in the absence of Steven Smith, Ajinkya Rahane led the team and also succeeds to qualify his team for play-offs. This time Steven Smith is back in to team so it will be interesting to see who will lead the team either Ajinkya Rahane or Steven Smith.

Rajastan Royals have some world class players like Ben Stokes, Ajinkya Rahane, Steven Smith, Jos Buttler, Jofra Archer and many more. But there is also disappointing news for RR fan that few International key players will leave team in mid season of IPL.

In previous season RR was struggling to win matches because, team didn’t have any good finisher. In absence of any good finisher, K. Gowtham played roll as a finisher and he had showed his match finishing ability in some matches. So this time RR bought few good finisher like Ashton Turner, Liam Livingstone etc.

After 2018 IPL, Rajasthan Royals released medium pacer Jaydev Unadkat but in IPL auction 2019, bought him again. He became a millionaire once again with Rs 8.4 crore bid by Rajasthan Royals. He had been bought for Rs 11.5 crore by RR last year.

Here is the complete squad of Rajasthan Royals for IPL 2019:-

Ajinkya Rahane, Krishnappa Gowtham, Sanju Samson, Shreyas Gopal, Aryaman Birla, S. Midhun, Prashant Chopra, Rahul Tripathi, Ben Stokes, Steven Smith, Jos Buttler, Jofra Archer, Ish Sodhi, Dhawal Kulkarni, Mahipal Lomror, Jaydev Unadkat, Varun Aaron, Oshane Thomas, Shashank Singh, Liam Livinstone, Shubham Rajane, Manan Vohra, Ashton Turner, Riyan Parag, Stuart binny.

Although it would be interesting to see which 11 among these 25 will play in team. What do you think? Please tell us in comment box below.
