Rayudu should’ve continued playing: Yograj Singh


Ambati Rayudu announced his retirement from all forms of cricket last month. He announced his retirement from the cricket suddenly. At the start of this year, Ambati Rayudu was the fixed player to play at number 4 for India. But he could not be included in the team India’s world cup squad. Vijay Shankar took his place in the Indian team. After the injuries of Shikhar Dhawan and Vijay Shankar, Amabti Rayudu did not replace them and then he announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.

Now Yuvraj Singh father Yograj Singh blams MS Dhoni for Ambati Rayudu’s retirement. Yograj Singh said that he may continue to play cricket for some more years.

“Rayudu should’ve continued playing, more and more. He should’ve played Ranji Trophy, Irani Trophy, Duleep Trophy, scoring 100s, 200s, 300s with not outs. He still has a lot of cricket left in him,” Yograj was quoted as saying by NNIS Sports.

“Rayudu, my son, you took the decision in haste. Come out of retirement and show them what you are capable of. People like MS Dhoni will not remain forever, filth like these will not remain forever,” Yograj Singh said.

It is because of Ambati Rayudu in the team India’s squad for world cup 2015. But he did not get a chance to play a single match. MS Dhoni led by this Indian side.

India reached in the semis of world cup 2019. Virat Kohli is leading the Indian team. India is playing against New Zealand in the first semi-final of ICC cricket world cup 2019 today.  Today, Ms Dhoni becomes only the second player after Sachin Tendulkar to play 350 ODIs for India. Australia and England will face each other in the second sem0final on July 11. The final will take place in London on July 14.
