Kohli joins Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni as Indian captains who have been fined this season for slow over-rates.
After losing the toss, RCB were bowled out for 191 by MS Dhoni’s side, despite a late effort from Ravindra Jadeja, who hit four boundaries and five sixes in a 28-ball 62. In response, Devdutt Padikkal’s scintillating 15-ball 34 got the RCB openers off to a flying start. Ravindra Jadeja’s dismissal caused a collapse in RCB’s middle order, handing the Men in Red and Gold their first defeat of the season.
