In recent times, KL Rahul, the elegant wicket-keeper batsman, has been one of the most talked-about Indian players. In recently concluded T20I series and ODI series with New Zealand, he has sealed his spot with his blistering performances at no. 5 position in this Indian cricket team. Being handed over the role of wicket-keeper after the concussion injury to Rishabh Pant on the ball of Pat Cummins in the home series against Australia, he has done wonders at that count too.
With his all-round abilities, he has created a fan base of his own. KL has now become the first-choice wicket-keeper of team India in white-ball cricket. It seems that the chances of Pant coming back to Indian team are at all time low. Pant needs to perform his heart out in the IPL 2020 in order to make a way in the national team, otherwise he is done and dusted in this Indian team.
India have played two complete series since Pant’s concussion injury and havealso tried Sanju Samson too. But Pant’s wait still continues.
Yesterday KL Rahul posted a photo of his with TV presenter Jatin Sapru’s infant daughter Inaaya Sapru on twitter and this triggered a troll to Rishabh Pant. This renewed the memory of an incident that took place between Rishabh Pant and Australian captain Tim Paine during the 2018 test series. In that series Paine offered a baby-sitting job as a joke to Pant in order to unsettle him.
And this triggered a series of trolls to Pant as a lot of people retweeted that photo with a comment of their own.
Another role ✅ 🙂 https://t.co/MKtArMexfv

Someone tweeted ‘Yeh kaam toh rishab pant k liye chhod do bhai.’ while other person tweeted, ‘Pant had one job left. Babysitting. That’s too has gone in Rahul’s hand. Feeling sad for pant.#RIPCareer’….and a much many of them still on the way.
